History  :

The Skin Shop was born in the year 2007 as one of the advocates of natural beauty in Korea. By year 2008- onwards, they started out producing their products in Hong Kong, China, Japan, Mongolia, Brunei, Taiwan, Australia, USA and Thailand.. Soon, the product will also reach Philippines. With the company slogan "Nature for Natural Beauty Cosmetics" The Skin Shop is dedicated in creating natural products that will reflect nature's magic in making one's skin radiate with health and beauty. Their Snail Cream and BB creams are a big hit all over the world!(source: http://insidestarsheart.blogspot.com/ So what is Snail Slime/Cream?

Snail Slime:
-scientific name: Helix Aspersa Müller Glycoconjugates

-The slime contains proteoglycans, glycosaminoglycans, glycoprotein enzymes,
hyaluronic acid, copper peptides, antimicrobial peptides, copper, zinc and iron.

-French women are fond of collecting lotion and creams which has snail slime

                                                                                         HISTORY

-Hippocrates, considered the father of medicine, recommended snails for skin
care as far back as 400 B.C. He produced the earliest known snail cream with
milk and crushed snails to treat skin redness

                                FUNCTIONS

                                        - The snail slime in snail cream moisturizes and protects skin. It helps promote the
natural healing process, enhances skin's ability to recover, dissolves dying cells,
triggers skin regeneration and repair and helps the skin produce antimicrobials that fight infection

-also treats acne, stretch marks, scars and sun damage.

                                                                                       BUT
-There are a lack of scientific studies that prove that snail cream cosmetics can
deliver the same benefits of pure snail slime.

  1. i wouldn't say the word, HIRING, they asked us to do them the favor of free advertising for trying out their products that, really, we've never heard of and in the off chance that we are not afraid that their products would not break us out. so really we aren't paid, which is the virtue of being hired. we just got free samples for them to hitch on our blogs.
    careful, sis ☺

  3. Hi Christina:
naaah you didn't hurt me, anyway, people who read my blog would see the disclaimer ;-)
hopefully the other bloggers who received the samples would put the same disclaimer. specially now with the DTI issue for bloggers, we might become more limited now in what we can do or receive =(
